What it is

Empathic Audiology™ is not simply patient-centered care; it is patient–provider-centered care. While patients must always be at the heart of hearing healthcare, meaningful and ethical care cannot be sustained if the audiologist’s time, expertise, and professional judgment are undervalued or constrained. Empathic Audiology™ recognizes that the best outcomes occur when both patient and provider are supported, heard, and respected. By honoring this partnership, care becomes more thoughtful, more effective, and more sustainable for the individuals who give and receive it. 


Empathic Audiology™ is described as patient-provider-centered care that is “a sustainable innovative approach for the patient, provider, and the profession of audiology.” Clinically, it recognizes that it's not just about diagnosing hearing loss and fitting hearing aids, but also “listening to the stories behind those hearing challenges and providing care that resonates on a human level.” We offer a comprehensive range of audiology services, which include hearing evaluations, hearing aids, tinnitus management, and vestibular and retrocochlear evaluations. 


Our team of audiologists and support staff are committed to providing the highest level of care and support to our patients. It is not a patient-centered model; it is patient-provider-centered care.
