Dr. Kelly Waugaman is the founder of Eldorado Audiology and Hearing Center™ and the creator of Empathic Audiology®.

With more than 26 years in hearing healthcare, she has worked across clinical audiology, private practice, Veterans’ care, government contracting, business strategy, technology, and practice development.

She founded Eldorado Audiology in 2013 to build something different: an independent practice where care could remain evidence-based, personal, and honest.

Her work continues to explore how healthcare and technology can evolve without losing the human connection at the center of care. Dr. Waugaman is known for asking questions, challenging assumptions, and looking beyond the obvious. Her work increasingly explores how healthcare, technology, and business systems can evolve without losing the people inside them.

That thinking led to Empathic Audiology® and later Synchronic Intelligence™ concepts centered on strengthening human judgment, connection, and care rather than replacing them.

Dr. Lisa Pulsipher brings exceptional clinical experience, leadership, and a lifelong understanding of sound to Eldorado Audiology and Hearing Center™.

Appointed by the Governor of New Mexico, she served as Chair of the state’s Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Practices Board, helping guide professional standards and protect patients across hearing healthcare.

She is also a classically trained cellist, giving her a unique appreciation for music, tone, nuance, and the way sound is experienced beyond the audiogram.

As Director of Audiology, Dr. Pulsipher reflects the principles of Empathic Audiology® through thoughtful listening, individualized recommendations, and clinically strong, deeply personal care.

She brings together science, leadership, and artistry in a way that makes her an extraordinary part of Eldorado Audiology.

Nina is Dr. Kelly Waugaman’s remote executive assistant, helping support the many moving parts behind Eldorado Audiology and Hearing Center™.

From communication and scheduling to organization and day-to-day support, Nina helps keep things moving behind the scenes — often from a distance, but very much part of the team.

She is dependable, adaptable, and trusted to step in wherever needed.

And yes, she was hired to help Dr. Kelly delegate more.
